Yes! I get to go! I'm so excited! Still can't believe that dad said yes! (Well I'm beginning to!)
Next year, I get to go to Africa, Uganda, with Livi. If she wasn't going I might be a bit hesitant...
Well anyway, we are going to build houses and schools and maybe other things, (I'm a bit vague on that!) for the children who don't have any. It works like this, each house has a "mother" who looks after 8 children. She looks after them and makes sure they get the attention they need.
To help you can donate money to cover the building costs. We are asking people to donate money by buying "Bricks of Hope" at $10 a brick. If you would like to contribute, then you can make out a cheque to "Greymouth Anglican Parish Watoto" and send it to, Greymouth Watoto 2009, c/- P O Box 27, Greymouth.
If you want to pay direct credit, please go Here.
Don't worry, the money you donate goes to the building materials.
Oh, and if you want more info go to www.watoto.com
